Hi, and welcome to The My Future Business Show!
Today, I have the absolute pleasure of spending time on the show with ELISABETH STITT, who is the founder of JOYFUL PARENTING COACHING, recognized by the ICF, International Coaching Federation.
As a parent, and as a teacher with more than 25 years’ experience working with kids of all ages, Elisabeth has observed changes that show we no longer live in a homogenous society.
During the call, Elisabeth mentions that what we see today, is a mix of ethnic, religious and philosophical backgrounds and beliefs. And although having such a diverse society gives us the ability to consider different ways others go about their role as parents, these same differences make it very difficult for today’s parents to make decisions confidently, without the need to second-guess their decisions.
It was from the realization that many parents were suffering to be effective, that Elisabeth decided to start her business, Joyful Parenting Coaching, in which she works with parents to share her knowledge and experience, and to arm them with effective parenting techniques and strategies.
This is a wonderfully insightful call for parents, and in turn entrepreneurs and business owners, as it reveals the truth behind just how much we contend with as 21st century parents. The call goes into the impact that technology is having on our families, and the impact 21st century businesses are having on how we bring up our children.
