On today’s show, I have the pleasure of welcoming acclaimed author Laura Burke to talk about her journey as an author, the process she follows when writing books, and we take a deep dive into her latest book series, The Jolene Mysteries. 

In her own words, Laura has always been and always will be a storyteller. Since childhood, she has dreamed of becoming an author. Now that we see Laura’s stories in print, her dream has become a reality. 

Since Laura was eight years old, mysteries have been her passion, especially murder mysteries. So much so that after working as a nurse for twenty years, she became a private investigator, working in close contact with police officers and detectives on several closed-case files with amazing results.

Laura currently resides in North Carolina with her husband. She has two children, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Laura is currently working on book 7 in the Jolene Murder series.
