Hi, and welcome to the show!
On today’s My Future Business Show I have the pleasure of welcoming to the show, entrepreneur and highly successful jewelery business owner Victoria Wieck talking about how she started her business with no money, inside connections or mentors, and turned it into a $500 million dollar company that operates in more than 30 countries.
Victoria holds a B.S. Degree in Economics from UCLA, along with an MBA with emphasis in Marketing and Finance from USC. Victoria has also had her very own TV show on HSN for more than 20 years and spent an additional 4 years on ShopHQ which is still running on that channel.
Victoria immigrated from South Korea to America with her parents with a mere $13. This was enough to get started in the land of the free, and she went on to build an amazing multimillion dollar retail business.
During the call, Victoria shares her American dream story that will inspire you and reveals many stories that highlight the highs and lows of being a business owner.
On the call, Victoria shares what she had to do to achieve a balance between working and living life, and the techniques she uses to overcome personal and professional obstacles. The key is family, tenacity and persistence, and having a very clear idea of what you want to achieve in your life and in business.
During the call, Victoria also shares her love of jewelery and jewelery design, and reveals how she had to invent new ways to market her products to make sure they consistently outperformed her competition.
Victoria is also an accomplished author who has written Million Dollar Hobbies, which is a roadmap to starting your dream business by unleashing your passion or hobby. She’s also authored a science fiction book slated for release later this year, called ‘Shattered Sky’.
