My wife left today! Why did she have to leave me?

Well, the only thing that happened is that she got up early, drove to the airport, boarded a plane and flew to Sydney to open another chocolate shop.

And I’m cool with that because I get to stay at home with the boys.

And I’m very proud of her because she’s worked hard to get to where she is.

When I first met her she was already a store manager, but over the years she has taken every opportunity to advance her career.

Now here’s the incredible part that blows my mind.

I value higher education, and I’m always educating myself.

But what my wife did to get a higher education is nothing short of amazing.

She decided that beyond all of her other qualifications, that she was going off to complete her bachelor of human resources – and in the middle of raising two very young boys.

And I think this is amazing because she also did some on-campus work and worked late into the night almost every night to get that opportunity to ‘tip her hat’ at the graduation ceremony.

And the reason I share this is because I want you to know that if you’re sitting on your backside making excuses about how you don’t have what you want right now, or it’s too hard, or you don’t have the resources you need to do it…

Then I call Bullshit.

You have everything you need right now.

And here’s the thing…

It’s mostly how you deal with the roadblocks you create [in your mind] that will hold you back from doing whatever it is you really want to do.

You might want to start your own business, help others start theirs, or get a university education. 

Whatever you want to do is completely up to you – and YES, you CAN do it.

But do yourself a favour…don’t wait.

There’s no time like now to do what you want…don’t look back a regret what you didn’t go after!
