Hi, and welcome to the show!
On today’s show I have the pleasure of welcoming author and immigration attorney Andy Semotiuk to talk about immigration for entrepreneurs, and to take a deep dive into his latest book The Young Professional which is a career guidance book for young people entering the legal profession.
During his amazing career, Andy published five books, which are all available on Amazon. He’s also been a Forbes Contributor for more than ten years, and over one million readers have read his immigration articles. In addition, Andy is a U.S. and Canadian lawyer practicing law at Pace Law Firm in Toronto.
Previously, Andy lived and practiced law in Los Angeles for ten years and in New York for five years. He’s also a former U.N. correspondent who worked in New York and wrote articles on immigration and human rights for Southam News Services of Canada and other media outlets elsewhere. He’s a professional speaker and a Distinguished Toastmaster, and a Senior Advisor to the Centre for Eastern European Democracy.
Andy’s other books include A Promise Kept, about my mother’s life and the immigrant experience; The Young Professional, a career guidebook for young people entering the professions; A Treasure Chest of Humor, a book of jokes; and 401 Goofy Jokes for Kids, which is my son Mark’s joke book published when he was 12 years old. They are all available on Amazon and on Barnes and Noble’s website.
I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I have lived half of my life in Canada and the other half in the United States. My spouse Ann and I now live in Toronto. We have two adult children and two grandchildren. I can be reached through the website www.Pacelawfirm.com.
